I like the gifted child link; it is important to talk with parents about children who show signs of higher ability. This is a personal challenge of mine because in the classroom I tend to focus so much on my lower ability students or behavior challenged students.
ReplyDeleteI will use the early chilhood website, I didn't know this resource existed. Thanks for sharing!
Sauda, Pre-K Now (one of the resources from this week) is a great campaign. I have looked at this website several times throughout the week and have found some great resources on this site. I found the “media” section particularly relevant because it discusses how the media is playing a role in bringing early childhood issues to the forefront. There are several links to news stories and press releases, which I enjoy reading. As a professional in the field I think it is important to stay current on what is happening in the field. Therefore, Pre-K Now serves as a great resource for this purpose.
ReplyDeleteYou have alot of great sources!
